Wiring codes are on my site and are generic. I found this on a MG site =

If all else fails check out John Simms web site for the electrical =
diagrams in full colour for the various models ( certainly has them for =
the later cars at least )

every standard wire is clearly labelled as to trace colour where it goes =
etc. and an A3 copy or larger if you can access one will confirm what =
each wire is connected

to and make life easy for you. Proved invaluable when I replaced the =
wiring harness during restoration of my BJ8

Good luck

Thanks guys. The Bugeye was easy since I had owned six of them prior to =
that restoration. This is the first big Healey I have attempted. =
Getting it as a bare shell has not helped in the re-installation of =
anything on this car. With nothing to go by near me since Tom Rocke =
passed away I have no examples to look at. I guess I just have to start =
labeling the individual wires as best I can. and start from there.

Here is a picture of the "offending" section of the harness. Does look =
like a BN1 or BN2 harness to you? Seems to be more wires than my BN2 =
wiring diagram calls for, or I could be misinterpreting the diagram. =20

Hi Mike,

Pretty sure that the big difference will be in the wiring for the =
overdrive relays that are just above the driver's knees.

In that area for a BN1 there will be a group of 4 wires that go to those =
relays.

1 x Black

1 x Green

1 x Green with Black and Yellow

1 x Green with Black and White.

=20

That group won't be there for the BN2 harness.
