rmal>Two outer bearings are Fafnir 7209 WNCU =E2=80=9CThrust=E2=80=9D bearin=
gs. Also marked 09V lot # 39551<o:p></o:p></p><p class=3DMsoNormal>Rear bear=
ing is a tapered bearing Timken #3478=C2=A0 with a tapered race # 3420<o:p><=
/o:p></p><p class=3DMsoNormal>Front (drive shaft end) Timken 02474 with a 02=
420 Race (not tapered) <o:p></o:p></p><p class=3DMsoNormal>Under separate em=
ail I will send you pix of a diff failure from what we think was a too tight=
 gear set when it was changed to 3.54 gears. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=3DMsoNo=
rmal>Not my car and I did not do the gear set-up, but we did install the set=
 that was handed to us. Look at the carrier where the cross shaft is pinned.=
 <o:p></o:p></p><p class=3DMsoNormal>There is a slight crack, allowing the c=
ross shaft to wobble, breaking the pin. Car was not under load, cruising abo=
ut 50 MPH. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=3DMsoNormal>Advice; maybe magnaflux the c=
arrier in that area before installing anything? <o:p></o:p></p><p class=3DMs=

cturer number for the three bearings involved so I can cross reference them =
at the bearing supply house? The three are, front pinion bearing, rear pinio=
n bearing and the carrier bearings (two required). I have the Austin numbers=
 but I'm afraid they won't be on the cross reference list at the bearing pla=
