 OK, to further muddy the water up.=C2=A0 I measured the diameter and overa=
ll length of two different tappets according to the original service manual=
. (reprint)=C2=A0 The diameter is spot on for both tappets.=C2=A0 The follo=
wer with the four holes has the correct overall length.=C2=A0 The three hol=
e tappet is taller, but the bottom of the pocket where the pushrod seats is=
 recessed further in=C2=A0 matching the height of the four hole tappet seat=
.=C2=A0 So now they both will work?=C2=A0 If that is the case I'm leaning t=
oward the four hole version for two reasons.=C2=A0 One, it has the correct =
overall length.=C2=A0 Two, oil will flow back out the tappet back to the pa=
n better.=C2=A0 Less weight going up and down too.=C2=A0 Am I going in the =
right direction here?=C2=A0 Anyone have the dimensions for the 6 cylinder t=
appets?
