Richard,I just got a new pump for my BN1 from Northwest British, it was a =
German made water pump and it's black in color. Not sure if it's the same =
one Moss is now selling, but I've got a couple of thousand miles on it now=
and no problems.=C2=A0But there was a large problem from the get go, seem=
s the front "drain" plug threads were straight cut and not pipe thread. So=
it leaked like crazy from around those threads. I used a bunch of plumber=
s tape around the plug threads and was able to drive home 375 miles with j=
ust a small leak. When home I took the plug out, coated it with the new Pe=
rmatex Seal+Lock, re-installed it and followed the directions to let it cu=
re for 72 hours. No leaks since.I've used the Seal+Lock Thread Compound on=
other connections since also, and all of those connections are now also l=
eak free, even on my air tools!=C2=A0So if that's the pump you have, it se=
ems to be really good, so far.Steven KingsburyBN1On Jan 7, 2023, at 1:30 P=
