| I suppose you know by now that Detroit Diesels are 2 stroke. Cummins are 4 stroke. as are almost all others including newer Detroits. I have been hanging on to a turbo off of a 8-92 Detroit for some time now. It sure looks like it would boost and an external waste gate is readily available. If you have a lathe and drill press you could make one yourself. Rich Fox PS there are a lot of maps in the Hugh MacGunness book "Turbochargers" Kind of an old book now though. |
