The fuel system for the A/GS I'm building is a 2 gpm electric pump
transferring fuel from a 3 gal tank into a 1 gal tall thin surge tank - The
surge tank inlet and return ports are at the top and the Hilborn pump suction
port is near the bottom - The engine will use about .8 gpm so over half of the
fuel will overflow back to the primary tank along with any air transferred by
the electric pump - Both tanks are directly in front of the engine with very
short lines .
