I think if you want the clock to work consistently, then check out one of
the suppliers of quartz conversions listed in Hemmings Motor News. Those
are about $40 as I recall. Your clock will appear original on the outside,
and actually keep time! However, if you want it to be original, I reccomend
Vintage Restorations in Kent, U.K. John Marks restored all my instruments,
and they look like jewelry.

This is probably old hat, but am fixing a few minor poblems on my 1952 MG
TD. Naturally the clock in the tac does not work. Is there someone who
