fuel pump

Hello all,

    I need some technical info. Does anyone know at what pressure the 
fuel is being delivered at by an SU AUF300 (from a 77 B)? I have a 
Weber conversion that runs extremely rich and I think this might be the 
problem. If this is indeed the case, does anyone have any 
recommendations regarding fuel pressure regulators? I know VB sells one 
for about fifty bucks - is it worth it or can I get a better unit 
elsewhere? Thanks.
