I have a 4 speed trans from a 72 B which I know is good since I was driving the car before I pulled it out. Regarding the U-joint bolts. I beleive the shank on the bolts is larger than a normal bolt so it fits tightly into the hole on the driveshaft flange. A normal hardware store bolt is smaller and may work itself lose. (I had this problem on my car). The Roadster Factory and Moss Motors both can supply the proper sized bolts.
