I'm using a Lincoln PAK 100 flux core welder. It's done everything I've
asked it to do on my healey. What's nice is if you think you need a MIG
you can convert it for around $80 or $90. Does a nice job with sheet metal.
You don't have to buy a name brand which might be cheaper but I think you
want to be able to convert it to a MIG if you need to. Flux core welders
work pretty good on sheet metal. I paid $279.00 I think for my PAK 100
at BJ's.......Todd....
Since the shrouds are aluminum on my Healey I may have to get the MIG
option myself, I have that option.
