I don't believe that the MG, Triumphs or Austin Healeys Roadsters will 
soon disappear but I do expect that their #s will, and are, being 
greatly reduced every passing day. This is at least the case in the 
USA. There are many cars being parted and exported for profit and even 
more just being neglected to the point of no return. There will always 
be a good number of true LBC enthusiast who will refuse to compromise 
their integrity by surcoming to the lures of the new generation of 
roadsters. There is much more to these cars than the cheap trill a 60 
MPH topless (the car not the driver) drive gives. There is history, 
dedication and a sense of pride that comes along with the ownership of 
these cars. The comradery between the owner of these cars is second to 
none. I can honestly say that some of my best friends are people that 
I've met in the past two years through mutual MG ownership. I do not 
think that I'm interested in doing any "bonding" with a bunch of, 
yuppie, "I own a Mi%ta, like all the others today, but would not think 
twice about loosing it for a Z3 if that's what cool tommorrow" types. I 
expect to have at least one LBC in the garage, one in the driveway and 
still another on jack stand or in a shop under going restoration at all 
times, for the rest of my life time. "Strength of character" is what 
this is all about. Are you Man (or Woman) enough to do what needs to be 
done when that old wiring harness is overdo for replacement or it comes 
time to replace the floors, sills and rockers. The weak will run and 
sign a "no money down, $219 a month 2 year lease". The strong will do a 
little quick math and discover that for the $5256 that M$$ta lease is 
going to cost them, they can have the entire drive train on their B 
rebuilt and still have enough for some body work and paint touch up, 
left over. Oh yes and let's not forget the difference of aprox. $2000 a 
year in auto insurance costs on that M$#@a when compared to a MG 
insured with JC Taylor or the like. That's another $4,000 over two 
years. That makes me see the rest of the body work done and a complete 
paint job. Still thinking of that other Korean company thing, if so 
then not only are you lacking in character but you're not real bright
