stuck hubs

Any ideas on unsticking the hubs on the rear axle.  They don't come off as 
easily as they do in Haynes and Porter.  I've been spraying PB in there to no 
avail.  And I don't necessarily want to just whack at it.  I'm just trying to 
get to the oil seals.  Semi-floating "tube" axle. '74 B.
