Hi all,

I was just browsing SU Midels Web page (News page to be exact) at
http://www.sumidel.com/ and came across these new fuel pumps that I haven't
seen before. I know lots of people have problems with their points type
pumps and replace with solid state, but Concours types prefer to stay with
their originals and this would seem to cover both issues. The conversion kit
sounds especially interesting. No interest yadda yadda yadda, good company
to deal with tho.

Midel Pty. Ltd. would like to announce the introduction of a complete range
of pointless SU solid-state electronic fuel pumps.

The reciprocating actuation of the diaphragm is achieved by means of a Hall
effect electronic switch and a solid-state timing control device. The
problems sometimes associated with burnt or dirty contact breaker points in
conventional electric pumps are thereby eliminated ensuring that the
electronic pumps will actuate every time even after a long winter lay-up.

The electronic pumps are externally identical to their familiar electric
counterparts and the characteristic ticking has been retained. Not to make
the original pumps redundant, a DIY conversion kit complete with electronic
circuit board and fittings will enable existing pumps to be modified to
electronic actuation if required.

Cheers,
Neil.
