Mark,
Extra insulation in the GT really does help. I put new padding under
the floor carpets, the transmission tunnel carpet, and under the carpets
under the seat. Also put a piece under the spare tire and under the
carpet that is on top of the plywood. Moss has triangular foam rubber
blocks that fit into the space behind the B panel. You could roll up some
foam rubber, stick it in there and get the same effect. The under-dash
panels will also help to cut down the resonance that occurs at certain
RPMs.
