Dave, I have used both with success. Althought the wheels are thin this
makes for a much faster cutting period and betters the precision of the
cut. I feel you may be applying to much pressure as you cut. Try cutting
with less but constant pressure at first and when you have a groove apply a
little extra force. Also, make sure you have the wheel perpendicular to the
bolt of whatever you are cutting. Most wheels brake off because you bend
them. If held vertical you will go all the way down to the shaft. The mesh
wheels are strong but also thicker. HTH, ENrique
