My car however has come from California in early 1990, so it has USA spec.
setup.
The gauge is electrically driven.
The transducer is on the same spot on the engine as you indicated, but there
is a little round box whith a spade connector on top of it.
>From this spot a brown/white wire goes into the loom to the gauge.
