Check the easy (cheap) stuff first.  It sounds like it's trying to run out of
oil.  Are you sure it is filled to the full mark on the dipstick?  Are you sure
that it's the correct dipstick for your motor?

It gets more expensive from here.  Is there the possibility that your oil
intake screen is partially blocked w/ sludge, small animals, etc., from a long
storage?

An idle pressure of 37# is very good on a warm engine.  My final guess would be
an oil pump that has outlasted its usefullness.
