There is a great article in this month's Grassroots, where they take a
regular
MGBGT and put it on a dyno. Then they add "external" performance pieces to
the engine and measure it again.

Add Petronix                    61.1hp
Add MSD                 62.7hp
Wires                           62.7hp
Petronix/MSD +30deg advance     64.3hp
As above with K&N               65.9hp (+16% increase over baseline)

this is an ongoing exercise, and in the next issues they are going to make
more mods.
