Huh, it seems to be sitting on the bonnet (whatever for?).

This was probably considered a cool item before the factory came out with
its own GT version, then that probably killed sales. If their timing was bad
enough (i.e. released only months before the BGT) it could be pretty rare.

The good thing is, it would help the roadster approximate the shape of a
teardrop...  <g>

You should buy this thing just on principle. Somebody must want it... it's
just the thing for long winter journeys -- keeps the luggage dry instead of
all exposed on the bootlid rack.
