For smaller parts, use the ZipLoc freezer bags, the ones you can write on
with the permanent ink pens. The come in several different sizes. As you
remove the piece, put it in the bag, and label it with specifics (e.g., left
side whatzit, right rear thingamabob, etc.). You can then store those in
larger paper bags by assembly, (e.g., front left suspension, etc.) You could
also throw moss part/page #'s on if you think it would help.
BUT, the best thing you could do is take pictures, digital or otherwise. In
two weeks, or two months, or two years, when you get around to putting it
back together, you may not remember exactly what goes where. Also, take
copious notes to explain any special things you did to remove the pieces, and
what order they came apart in.
