Yes I'm aware of the differences between the US and UK english.
As being in ICT from 1974 on mostly working for American companies or their
representing companies I may have taken US english words as part of my
vocabulary.
Funny to see the MGB Lindsay Porter book wherein you can read typical car
words in US and UK English.
Washer was the right word, but I was tired at the time I wrote the mail, so
then you're not at your best....
Still like the list very much.
