Adding to the others the nut should be tightened to a minimum of 40 lbft
then further tightened till one of the split-pin holes lines up which should
be before 80lbft, there should still be 'perceptible' (specifically .002" to
.004") end-float i.e. play.  Unless this is all clamped up as well as a
weaker stub axle there is nothing to stop the inner races spinning on it.
