Actually, the show you saw WAS from the first year it
was run, but that was back in 2001. The 2002 event
was also televised on Speed, and you can catch it now
and again.
I've seen both, and it's decent (not great) coverage
of what appears to be a REALLY cool event. Maybe
sorta like what Targa Tasmania was years and years
ago.
Apparently, the event is proving very successful and
very popular, and I hope to enter in 2004 with my MGB.
There was at least one MGB entered in the 2002 event,
although I don't know who's it was. A white RBB, if I
remember correctly.
