I once heard a story of a man, who had warped rotors ever so often.
The garage was completely puzzled about this happening so many times and the
cost was big.
This was stopped after a garage guy had a very long talk with the customer.
What the driver did was washing his car every fortnight immediately after
driving home, which was a long drive and the last part was downhill, so the
rotors were always hot then.
The guy sprayed water with a hose all over the car including the wheels and
brake system.....

This caused the warping.
