I've had Hagerty since my MGA was restored last year. Premiums
are $200/yr for an agreed-value $25,000 policy. It also includes
a couple tows a year. Late last summer, I got a crack in the
windshield. It was the old windshield that had been removed and
re-installed, frame and all, during the restoration. So, I

coupled with solar heating. I was so sure it wouldn't be covered
I just called almost on a whim, and discovered it was covered
100%, no deductible, even though I wasn't sure exactly what
date it had happened. Besides that, it had no effect on my
rates. The repair was $450. This summer I paid my second
year's premium of $200. Two years in, they're down $50 on the
deal. That's pretty damned good service for an insurance
company, and insurance copmanies are a class of institution
I count as just above below government on the parasite scale. :-)
