Is there an accepted dimension for the bonnet to scuttle and bonnet to cowl fit? Obviously, it has to be large enough to prevent rubbing from body flex. I've recently refitted the bonnets to my 4/4 after rebuilding the body and find that one side has a 1/4" gap between the scuttle and bonnet and the other about 3/16". John 59' 4/4 |
