A while back there was a discussion about some of the various
uses of WD-40.  I added that we should all be careful with the
stuff because the propellant inside the can is propane.  I am
happy to report that the can I bought last month is pressurized
with Carbon Dioxide (CO2) which is completely inert.  There is
probably still a lot of the older stuff out there, but the
propane is disappearing from WD-40.  This is a mixed blessing of
sorts.  I won't be able to use it as diesel starting fluid
anymore.  But it also won't vent explosive gases when the nozzle
under the seat of my '53 gets pushed down by the jack :)

Now, if they could just figure out a way to make that little red
straw thingy last as long as the rest of the can....
