[oletrucks] brake trivia question

Could anyone tell me which manufacturer was the original equipment manufacturer
for wheel cylinders and other brake components on a 1959 Chevrolet 1/2 ton.  Was
it Bendix or ???

I wonder why the 55 assembly manual doesn't include a detail of the brake
components?
