Hey guys,
I have a '59 3600 with 17.5" wheels. I want to replace them with 16' so
I can go to cheaper radials. I took the advice that was offered in the
past on the list, measuring backspace, and found that Ford 16'X 6'
wheels worked (with tape weights). However.. the tires we put on rub
(not the wheels, they weren't even close to a problem). We put on
p225-75-16. The tire place (Hi-Way fuel in Washougal WA) doesn't think
215s will fit either. What did I do wrong?
What do I do now?

Thanks for the help.
