terry of all the things I did to my truck I agonized most over wheels and
tires.I ended up with 15x7 front with 235 75r15. in back I went with 15x8
wheels and 31x11.00 tires. the fronts I ordered with 4 1/2 backspacing and
the backs had 6 1/2 backspace.I have a heidt's front end and a dana 4:11
posi rear end.
good luck and try a different back space this may help

>Well guys and girls, I tried to start a new adage: Measure Zero-Cut Once,
>but much to my surprise it didn't work. I now have two brand new
>Convo Pro 15X7, 5 on 4 3/4" bolt circle wheels that I can't use and need to
>sell. I paid about $312 and would like to get at least $250 for them, and
>will pay the shipping. The company I bought them from refuses to take them
>back since I'm 2 weeks past their 90 day return policy. If anyone is
>interested please ping me off the list and I am located in the Houston, Tx.
>The story behind my stupidity is that I was totally concerned with the fit
>of the rear wheels and tires and just took it for granted that anything in
>the front would work. WRONG!!! I measured the rear about a dozen times
>before I bought them and they fit fine. The front 235-70-15 tires sit very
>close to the outside of the fenders that would only allow an inch or two of
>travel without hitting the fenders (I have a 1979 Nova subframe installed).
>I am going to go with 15X6 wheels and smaller tires.
>Boy, I'm still amazed at how stupid I am.
