Hello from the great white north....and let me tell you...its been very
white as of late. had a foot in my drive way of the white sh#t and
they say another foot of it is expected in the next 24 hours. such is
the life of an eskimo. any ways being up here the ordering of parts can
be a killer.. have customs to deal with and if you think dealing with
the government is a hassle just try dealing with a broker at the
boarder, im sure the mafia runs them guys....nothin gets past their
charges. What i need is a buddy that is helping me with my truck is
heading down to sunny california to get away from this darn white stuff
and he has told me that hell pick up some body parts if i need
them...trouble is they have to fit in his suit case. i need outer cowl
replaced and the ones i bought a few years ago only go part way. The
Catalog i recieved from LMC truck parts has them that seem to go the
full distanse that the cowl seems to rust out being attached to the
fender in that place. ( get my drift) anyways hes agreed to stop in
some parts places in Wally land area and his wife is doing some buisness
in San Fran. so they are driveing from Wally world to san fran and im
wondering if their is a place where he can get these parts. HEs a body
man and knows knows what he wants , since hes doing the repairs on my
truck... so you california guys can ya give me some addresses if there
is any place he can go? Ive heard of the horror stories of Golden
State Parts and if that is the only place to get them, ill send him
there , appreciate any help thanks
