The fact that the half ton uses floating pins is good and bad. Easy to
remove  bushings and need's no reaming but allows neglected worn bushing to
hammer the spindles into an egg shape. Check for out of round bushing bores
in spindles. This can be fixed with oversize bushing (different from
oversize pin) available from Heavy Chevy. Also check for loose pins in axle
which can be fixed with oversize pins.
