Hi...another caution...check the fit of the kingpins in the axle.  I
worked on a 54 that had worn holes in the axle, and required oversize
kinpins (Moog still sold an oversize kit about 5 years ago).  Also
required borrowing a reamer from a friend's machine shop to make the
oversize pins fit. 

I've never run into this problem on the later TF trucks.  I've usually
had to deal with the kingpins being stuck really well in the axle on
them...lotsa beating required.  You can heat the end of the axle to
loosen them, but don't get it very hot, or you may cause problems with
the metal.
