Hi Don,
I recognize your name from the list. I am located in
Central Ill. I live in a railroad town by the name of
Galesburg. I thought that I would start my selling
price at $250 for all four with the buyer paying the
shipping via UPS. I have the boxes that my new
Centerline wheels came in, to ship the wheels in. I
don't believe the shipping cost to be very high. The
wheels are aluminum of course, and don't weight 20#
apiece by my estimation. If I don't get any takers in
a month or so I might consider taking $200 for all
four. I spent $130 apiece for my new rims from
CenterLine. I wanted the same design for my truck
after I converted to Pacer IFS, but I could not find
anywhere that sells this type.(Plain Slotted Aluminum)
The size of the rims are 15X8 1/2. I ran at that time
the stock running gear.(6 bolt) I ran a P245-60R15 on
the front and a P255-60R15 on the rear. It had a nice
look. I have a picture of the wheels on my truck that
I can scan in if you are interested in how they will
look on your 1953. The picture was with me standing in
front if the truck so the view of the wheels is
limited. I still have, but not for long my old front
axle and rear axle. They have new wheel cylinders and
brake shoes. The PO did a complete brake job before I
bought it. I only have a couple of thousand miles on
the brakes. I couldn't stand taking them to the scrap
yard. I always thought that whoever got the wheels
would jump at the chance to get all the free parts. My
brother has a 52 AD but It is a 3/4 ton and all the
running gear is not the same.I hope that I gave you
enough info. If you have more questions just ask.
