I paid a little more than that for roller bearings, which
should last a lot longer.

Sounds like it is time for kingpins and bushings.

hehe, just joking, but I pulled off my front drums and the passenger side
bearings were hosed. Broken, with metal all over. Well, no big deal, I
will just call Auto Zone and pick up some new ones for $10. hehe, can't
find the bearings there, so I call Napa, yup they got them... FOR $100!!
What? inside bearing was $39!! outside bearing was $49!! seal was $10. Oh
well, I bite the bullet and pull out the plastic, relace the bearings. My
truck now rides much better. But....
While I had the truck up, I grabbed hold of the wheel and was able to
rock it up and down. Upon inspection, the entire spindle assembley was
rocking on the king pin. Does this mean my king pins are shot?
