Some time ago there were a fair number of discussions re blue dots and laws
in particular states as to their legality. Yesterday, my son, in his 55 1st
Series, was stopped by a local cop in Oklahoma and was told his taillights
weren't red enough! He's running reproduction stock red lenses but the cop
said he knew what came on those trucks and these weren't right! So he gave
him a week's grace period to fix them. For those truckers in Oklahoma, do
you have any info re taillights, color, and what's allowed and not? I think
the cop is just hassling him but it sure would be nice to cite some
precedence or vehicle code to shut him up.
