Help -

I am still having trouble lining up my short shaft water pump pulley
with the crank pulley on my newly rebuilt 235. The distance from the
outside of the engine block to the inside of the outer edge of the crank
pulley is exactly two inches. The short shaft pulley is about 21/2 in.
from the block surface.
I would really appreciate it if someone with a 235 would check the
distance between the block and the crank pulley above where the timing
gear cover is located and just behind the generator.

Thanks in advance,
Tom
