Dale, in my case, you're right on both counts!  On AD trucks (not sure about
TF trucks) the steering wheel is supposed to be the same color as the
interior.  On most....if not all....AD trucks, the interior was the standard
beige color.  However, the previous owner of my truck painted the interior
black and put in black headliner, door panels, and black covering for the
seat.  So, until I decide to completely restore the interior to original, I
have no choice but to go with a black steering wheel.  So, I guess I'm
sticking with the rules and having a steering wheel that's interior
color.....just not original interior color.
