i have a story but not quite as good as yours a few months ago i bought a
50 suburban from the 2nd owner out of wisconsin i could tell it had been
painted some time ago but it really still had lots and lots of shine the
guy is in his 70's and had owned it for a long time i called him and asked
when he painted it, i expected him to say in the 1980 time frame he
thought for a moment and said "well, it was before kennedy died" holy cow
i couldnt believe it it looks great it was painted before i was even
born!! anyway, they dont make paint like they used too!!!
