I am working on the doors (55 1st series doors) on my 50 and I am trying to
repair the door latch. I added some weld where the wear was really bad but
noticed the spring is broken. Its a spring that has two seperate windings
with a bridge seperating the two. Does anyone know of a parts source that
carries them? The whole Door Latch is about $35.00 each and all I need is
the spring that comes with it. I believe the door latches were the same
between 52 and 55 1st.
