One more thing- after you've drilled the hole, be sure to seal the edges up
with something.  Otherwise, the bare metal is exposed, and moisture can
start to work it's way under the paint.  I usually use a few dabs of my
wife's clear nail poilish.

Don't take my word on it (there are much more knowledable people here than
me that I'm sure will answer this) .. but I would think you'd need to put
some masking tape on the area that is to be drilled. When ever I've seen
anyone drilling I've always seen them drilling trough the tape.
