Done a lot of powder coating today, spindles, some misc suspension parts.
Doing a trial run at powder coating the frame ... I took a section down to
bare metal, cleaned it with metal prep, dried it and applied the powder ...
I'm curing it one small section at a time with an infrared lamp, moving it
about every hour .. it's looking great so far! If it really looks good when
I'm done today, I'm going to get 3 more lamps and build a stand so I can do
about a 2 foot section at a time and then move all the lamps down at once.
Eastwood wants around $500 for their infrared kit, mines going to cost me
about $40 ;)
