I have documented everything I have done and bought for my truck. I was
bored one night and added up everything that I have spent on the truck (that
I can find receipts for). I am only up to $12,400. Good thing I spent it
all before I got married.
Just a brief update on my project. I just ordered the full size outer cowl
panels from Chevy Duty. Waiting for them in the mail. I have a Bitchin
products firewall, floors, inner fenders, radiator core support installed
along with new rockers and inner and inner/inner to outer cowl panels.
Heidt's IFS front end. New 350 small block TH 350 tranny, '76 Nova rear
end. I have a Ron Francis wiring harness and many more parts siting on the
shelf waiting to go in. The truck is still in bare metal. I just finished a
night time tech school autobody class. I now have a very nice tailgate in
primer. I did a lot of welding and rust repair on that thing. I became the
primary welder in class so I was doing a lot of work on other peoples
projects. But that is OK, that is why I do this stuff, for the fun of it.
When I have some time I will document everything better and post it on a web
site. I am in the middle of smoothing out the hood. Inside and out. what a
job that is.
