Ed Gaito mentioned in an e-mail to me long ago that he
could use the part numbers for the universal park brake cables I used
for my 52 GMC 1/2 ton. I have a mid 60's chev truck rear
end and brakes and these cables will enable one to connect the
brakes to the stock emergency cross piece and clevises with a stock looking
cable witch also will clamp into the stock frame
brackets (the brackets that are riveted on to the frame
ahead of the rear end). You need to shorten the outer and inner cables
a lot and I rethreaded the reprpo clevises I got from
Chevy Duty from left hand to right hand thread and the stock rubber boots
will fit for a stock look and they will adjust so they
