Jon : First thanks for all the info. My goal is to build a luxury street rod
with power everything ,air conditioning , plush interior , grade a sound system
et. I don't plan on hauling anything big and it will not be a daily driver.
However When Its finished I would like to take it out west on route 66 and some
other long road trips and know it will be dependable . I was looking for a front
clip so I can buy the whole car or truck. I need a small block 350 or something
like it , also a Automatic transmission , Rear end and what ever else I can use
off the car. This is not going to be a hot rod , I want a good strong Stock V8.
>From everything I have read the Chevy 350 seems to be a great choice. Maybe
this new info and your experience will help me get a good match to look for.
