If I recall correctly about a year or two ago their
was any article in one of the car magazines where they
put speakers in a early 60's truck.  They mounted two
in the door and two at the back corners of the cab. 
It looked really nice and clean but I would think that
without an equalizer you'd loose your hearing from the
speakers at rear cab corners.  Speakers 2" inches from
my head don't seem to good.  Did look nice though.  I
was thinking about doing this on my 53 but I guess I
would have to have the cab corner speak volume really
low!  Just a suggestion.
