I've looked into the United Speedometer Shop 'encore' gauges. All electronic
VDO
guts with original look. All the numbers read higher (80psi, 120mph, etc).
The run
a bit more (about $525 I think), but there is no billet adapter to buy so it is
not
all that bad. I like the resto-rod, billetless look so I will go this route
whenever I have the money to spare. Probably won't be soon with 3 more years of
college, normal expenses, and a Studebaker to start on.
