Tying both lines into one would defeat the purpose of a dual master cylinder.

i want to get a modern master cyl for a 50 2ton that has hydrovac brakes.
can i just get any dual resevoir master(late 70's nova/camaro) and tie both
lines into one that goes to the hydrovac unit? does bore size matter? HELP!!
