58-59 Canadian Chevy/GMC Master Parts Book Accessory section shows part #
987493 "Utility Tray" and says it was available on "all models". The drawing
looks just like the one I have. This part is not listed in the 55.2-57
Canadian Chevy/GMC Master Parts Book, nor is it listed in the 55.2-60 USA GMC
Master Parts Book. Maybe it was a Chevy part that was not offered by GMC??

Has anyone ever heard of an factory optional tool tray that fits on top of
the gas tank, behind the seat in a task force truck? He said it attaches to
the top of the gas tank and to the back of the cab.
The shop restoring my truck has one they tore out of a parts truck and they
say they will sell it to me very reasonably, what ever that means!
If someone has one and can send me a picture I would really appreciate that.
Even more so if someone has heard of one, what do they sell for? It's not
something I have aspired to have, but maybe someone else would like to buy
it.
