Were there any 1942, 46, or 47 Chevy / GMC pick ups? Were they the pre-war
style, or the same as the 47-55 style? Thanks, Bob K in PHX, AZ

seems pretty solid, but like with most of them, is going to need lots of
love and money. I have more love for the thing then money, but we will get
her looking like gem. Thank goodness my wife loves it, because she has been
ordering parts for it too.

want to take the whole thing apart and then not be able to enjoy it while I
am working on it. I know this isn't the best method, as far as restoration
goes, but she will be nice when she is done.

away (we live near Madison, WI), so that I could really have a good look as
to what this machine is supposed to look like. I have about $500 worth of
books, reference manuals, etc, but don't have anything that I could get my
hands on. I was quite young when my dad had his, so I don't remember exactly
what they looked like inside and out. I have a pretty good idea,

going on. (I know that Jefferson is in the spring up here-but don't know if
it's really that good of a swap/car show for the truck.) I think IOLA is
this weekend, but again, I have never been and don't know if it is a waste
of time. Anyone heading up there?

you guys (and ladies) soon.
